Bianca Nunes

Bianca Nunes is an international educator with over 12 years of experience in lower school as a language specialist, lead homeroom teacher, and teacher leader. Having grown up in Ecuador and Venezuela, she carried a deep appreciation for diverse cultures into her teaching career at Balboa Academy in Panama, the American School of Brasilia in Brazil, and The School at Columbia University and Riverdale Country School in New York City. A lifelong learner, she loves all-things literacy - she enjoys writing and has published several articles, as well as developing literacy resources and leading various workshops alongside colleagues. Bianca graduated from McGill University with an English Literature degree, and earned Master’s degrees in Curriculum and her most recent in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is passionate about bringing educators together to navigate challenges and empower student growth.
